Tarot Quest

What is Tarot Quest?
It is a unique and personal way to learn tarot that comes with one on one attention.

It is very 'hands on' and does not require memorization or learning by rote.
It is not the read and remember type of study.
The Tarot Quest process uses your own personal experiences and thoughts to find that natural connection you have with each card. This brings easy knowing!

While there is easy knowing, it comes with work.

Dedicated study is important. You will get out of it what you put into it.

Tarot Quest is a correspondence study; you will have 'homework' for each study.
You will get feedback on what you submitted and can have lengthy conversations about the study if that is what you want and need. Correspondence with me has no limits.
Each study is designed to be printed and fits into a three ring binder that you can keep as part of your tarot journal. It should be noted that this study does require writing; the more the better! If you want to keep a good tarot journal, this is a great start or addition to that.

There are over 40 studies and most all of the studies has three different assignments, a.k.a "Quests".  You can also use what ever your deck you want. I do suggest that the decks be an illustrated pip deck.

All Major Arcana cards are done as individual studies. Court cards are studied in pairs and the pips in 3 or 4 cards collectively. You can be as simple as you like with the assignments or really get into it and go big. You can work at your own pace as well. There is no pressure to get each quest done within a certain time frame. The more you put into it, the more you will get out of it, and by going big you get way more than your money's worth!

Speaking of money. You can pick and choose the lessons you want! What this means is that you are not paying a big price for something that you already know 60% of the content.

In addition to the card study, there are other fun "quests" that are offered. Other studies are focused on different aspects of reading like the elemental associations, reversals, and more.

What You Should Know About Me and My Relationship With Tarot
While I don't have a Rider Waite deck, I am, ironically, a bit of a tarot purist. It maybe contrary to current popular belief, but cards do not mean what ever one feel they mean, that's for the intuitive part and has nothing to do with the meaning of the cards. Tarot cards have a defined structure and it is from within those symbolic foundation that our intuition will build upon.
Memorization does not come by repetition, it comes from experience and participation. I'm big on handwritten study journals for beginners especially. I don't want for those who study with me to 'focus' on memorization. Don't force it.
I'm about keeping things fun and simple, but packed with a punch to really cement things in.
Also, I don't subscribe to many of the should and should not taboos surrounding tarot.
