North – Earth / Winter: 2 of Swords

The North represents grounding, stability, and what is a tangible reality. The 2 of Swords here speaks of mental stillness before making an important decision. This is a moment of weighing possibilities when you feel so unsure which path will lead to security.  This card can reflect the mental fatigue that comes when your logic conflicts with your intuition; part of you wants safety and predictability, another part of you wants something more meaningful or something that you have more control over. Are you preferring a job that has you working independently? 
The winter energy of the position echoes the previously mentioned stillness. Like winter there is a peaceful quiet before growth returns. The advice here is to create some quiet stillness; take advantage of this quiet and discover what is calling to you.  You don’t want to rush into anything that does not feel quite right so be sure to listen to the deeper truth beneath any indecision you might feel. Meditations can be really helpful when you feel lost or helpless. Go into a meditation with questions like, ‘What do you actually want to invest your energy in?’ The 2 of Swords reminds you that clarity isn’t always found by gathering more information; it can also come from giving yourself permission to feel your way forward.

South – Water / Summer: Ace of Pentacles

In the realm of emotion and intuition, the Ace of Pentacles is a very promising sign. This is the seed of new beginnings and a real opportunity that is about to emerge, a something that can grow into long-term stability if nurtured carefully. With this position being aligned with Water and Summer, this new opportunity won’t come purely from logic or traditional channels, but through following a current of emotional authenticity and connection. Again, meditation can be helpful. 
You may be offered a chance that feels small at first; might be a project, a collaboration, or even an idea that sparks your enthusiasm. East – Air / Fall: 8 of Cups

In the East, the direction of thought, communication, and insight is the 8 of Cups. This shows a mental and spiritual awakening. This is the moment of realization that certain paths have been outgrown. It can represent the decision to leave behind a job, identity, or professional expectation that once felt right but no longer feeds your soul. This is possibly the why behind still being unemployed. Have you lost a bit of motivation in trying to find a specific type of job?
You are being guided to move away from ideas and definitions of success that rely on external validation. This is a time for inner honesty, and in the realm of Air, it calls for a shift of your mindset. Learn how to leave behind old self-talk that has you measuring your worth with productivity or status. There is a saying, ‘Do what you Love,  Love what you Do.’ … that is the real success in life. The East is symbolic of dawn and this expresses a new mental clarity that is just beginning to rise.

West – Fire / Spring: 6 of Wands Reversed

The West governs fire, drive, and outward actions. The 6 of Wands is reversed, symbolic of a flame that has dimmed. This can reflect any recent disappointments, setbacks, or feelings of invisibility. Recognition or success has been feeling out of reach and has caused you to be quite frustrated and possibly even causing some self-doubt.
However, fire reversed doesn’t mean all is gone. Like the coals from the fire from the night before, a fire looks like it is ‘out’ but you best be aware that those coals under all that ash is way hot and can cause damage if not handled with care. This is a contained little hot spot and is just waiting, and has the potential to be big. Take this moment to redefine what victory looks like for you, it perfect timing with it as Mercury is retrograde and you can take advantage of it! 
The reversed 6 of Wands often appears when someone is meant to succeed on their own terms, outside of conventional paths or the expectations of others. The message from the West is to stop measuring progress by the standards of others. Your path is not behind schedule; it’s being rewritten. Real success will come not from chasing validation but from aligning action with integrity and self-trust…. ‘Do what you love, love what you do’…
